Md. Shamsul Islam
মো. সামসুল ইসলাম
Md. Shamsul Islam is an academic and columnist who most recently served as the Dean of the School of Business and Social Sciences and Chairman of the Department of Journalism, Communication and Media Studies at State University Bangladesh. His extensive professional background includes leadership roles as chairperson positions at Central Women's University and Stamford University Bangladesh. An accomplished scholar, he earned an M.A. from the University of Leeds as a Chevening Scholar and a gold-medal-winning M.A. from the University of Dhaka , supplemented by a Visiting Fellowship at Oxford University. As a prolific columnist and media commentator, he contributes regularly to major outlets including the Dhaka Tribune, Bangla Tribune focusing on digital media literacy, international relations, and the future of higher education.
মো. সামসুল ইসলাম একজন শিক্ষাবিদ ও কলামিস্ট। তিনি সর্বশেষ স্টেট ইউনিভার্সিটি বাংলাদেশের স্কুল অব বিজনেস অ্যান্ড সোশ্যাল সায়েন্সেসের ডিন এবং জার্নালিজম, কমিউনিকেশন অ্যান্ড মিডিয়া স্টাডিজ বিভাগের চেয়ারম্যান হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন। বিস্তৃত পেশাগত জীবনে তিনি সেন্ট্রাল উইমেন্স ইউনিভার্সিটি ও স্টামফোর্ড ইউনিভার্সিটি বাংলাদেশের সাংবাদিকতা বিভাগের নেতৃত্ব দিয়েছেন।
তিনি একজন কৃতী গবেষক। ইউনিভার্সিটি অব লিডস থেকে শিভেনিং স্কলার হিসেবে এম.এ. ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেছেন এবং ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে স্বর্ণপদকসহ এম.এ. সম্পন্ন করেছেন। এছাড়া অক্সফোর্ড বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে পেয়েছেন ভিজিটিং ফেলোশিপ।
তিনি নিয়মিতভাবে ঢাকা ট্রিবিউন ও বাংলা ট্রিবিউনসহসহ বিভিন্ন গণমাধ্যমে লেখালেখি করেন। তার লেখার প্রধান বিষয় হলো ডিজিটাল মিডিয়া লিটারেসি, আন্তর্জাতিক সম্পর্ক এবং উচ্চশিক্ষার ভবিষ্যৎ।

Biswadip Das began his journalism career in 1993 at The Financial Express. He later held key newsroom positions at The Daily Star and at Independent Television. Since its inception, he has served as a senior editor at bdnews24.com.
He studied English literature and business administration before pursuing journalism at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, the University of Westminster. London School of Journalism, and law and politics at Queen Mary University of London.

Kuek Ser Kuang Keng is the senior editor for rainforest investigations at the Pulitzer Center, and the founder of Data-N, a media training and consultancy that specializes in data journalism. Keng holds a MA in journalism from New York University. He is a Fulbright scholar, a Google Journalism Fellow and a Tow-Knight Fellow.

Ramen Biswas started his journalism career at Ajker Kagoj, a pioneering publication that reshaped Bangladesh’s newspaper industry. He later worked at Bhorer Kagoj, Janakantha, and other national dailies, and held roles in the newsrooms of several private television channels.
রমেন বিশ্বাস সাংবাদিকতা শুরু করেন আজকের কাগজে যে পত্রিকাটি বাংলাদেশের সংবাদপত্রজগতে এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পরিবর্তনের সূচনা করেছিল। পরে তিনি ভোরের কাগজ, জনকণ্ঠ ,যায় যায় দিনসহ বিভিন্ন জাতীয় দৈনিকে কাজ করেন এবং দেশের একাধিক বেসরকারি টেলিভিশন চ্যানেলের বার্তাকক্ষে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন।
